Tinnitus clinic in Jackson, MI

Community Hearing Center is an independently owned, private practice audiology clinic in Jackson, and it is run by Dr. Kelli Bogue and her husband, Tyler. Dr. Bogue earned her doctorate at Ohio University, completed her residency at the Dayton VA Medical Center, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

There is no cure for tinnitus, but there are ways to find relief. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), a type of talk therapy, teaches you new ways to respond to the ringing so it bothers you less. Hearing aids can help too, since bringing back missed sounds can mask tinnitus, and many models include soothing therapy sounds. For people without hearing loss, sound generators offer relief without added volume. Fittings are checked with Real Ear Measurement, a test that makes sure hearing aids are set right for you. To book, call (517) 888-5055 or visit 2027 4th Street, Jackson, MI 49203.

The office is very homey, which adds comfort to the whole experience. Dr. Bogue, and Tyler are very pleasant, down to earth, understanding, accommodating, and professional. I recommend the Community Hearing Center to anyone that I talk to. The only concern, and it isn't a huge one, is that you can sometimes feel the vibrations of people walking, and talking when you are in the soundproof room. Just a minor distraction, and is probably building related. Everything else is great! Dr. Bogue does her best to truly provide the best care, and provides suggestions to help alleviate symptoms on things that cannot be cured. She relates to her patients, and truly understands the frustrations of hearing loss, and tinnitus.
