Dr. Tara Mango, CCC-A, is adjunct faculty in Monmouth University's speech-language pathology department and is licensed in New Jersey and New York. Dr. Kristen Nortwich, CCC-A, earned her doctorate at Montclair State University, is fluent in American Sign Language, and offers tinnitus assessments for all ages.
Care starts by looking for the cause of your tinnitus. The practice lists Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT), which pairs sound with counseling so your brain gradually learns to tune the ringing out, and sound therapy, which uses soft sound to calm it. Hearing aids with masking features and the Lenire device are also offered, and the practice uses Real-Ear Measurement to verify hearing aid fittings.
